TAEQ’s Executive Director, Dr. Hussein Tarabeih received his Ph.D. from the Department of Geography and Environmental Studies, University of Haifa, Haifa, Israel. Currently he is an Adjunct Professor for Environmental and Geopolitical Conflicts at George Mason University, Virginia, USA. Email:tarabeih@taeq.org
TAEQ’s Scientific Director, Dr. Shlomo Kimchie received his Ph.D. from the Dept. of Civil & Environmental Eng. at the Technion, Haifa. For over 15 years he held lecturers' positions at the Technion, Haifa and at the ORT Braude Academic College, Karmiel. He has been the R&D Manager at TAEQ since 2004. Email: shlomo@taeq.org
Jumanah Essa is the International Project Coordinator at TAEQ, where she is responsible for proposal development, project administration and reporting. She is currently a doctoral student in the School of Public Health at the University of Haifa.
Hanadi Hijriss is Special Projects Coordinator for TAEQ. Her work includes Partnership for Peace, Green Network, Kindergarten projects, and the Local Sustainability Center. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology, and a Diploma in Education, from Haifa University. Email: hhigris@taeq.org
Mokhlis Hajuj is the Environmental Education Coordinator. He works with the Green Network, Ecotop/Biotop projects, and student/teacher courses for high schools and universities. Mr. Hajuj holds an Associate Degree in Environmental Engineering from Western Galilee College, and a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture and Diploma in Education from Beit Berl College. Riyad Dwairy is an Environmental Planning Consultant. He is a practicing architect and provides his building design expertise on a variety of TAEQ projects, including its Green Building headquarters. Mr. Dwairy also provides consulting to the 6 municipalities participating in TAEQ, helping with environmental planning issues.
